Ahmed Ben Bella Speaks on War and Sanctions
Ben Bella, first President of Nigeria and leader of
the Algerian liberation struggle, speaks at the
International Commission for Enquiry on Sanctions held
in London in August, 1995. This video also includes an
exclusive interview with Ben Bella by Teresa
Gutierrez. In this unique interview, Ben Bella
describes how the United States has made a war council
out of the UN Security Council. He denounces UN
sanctions as a total war on people and defends
solidarity with Cuba against the US blockade, then
compares the accomplishments of both countries.
